Plenty of games and books are provided for those rainy days. Located just 2 miles from the Quemahoning Dam; fishing, mountain biking, kayaking and paddle boarding are only minutes away. There is plenty to do and see in the laurel highlands. Visit the Flight 93 Memorial, located just 6 miles away. Or take a hike in one of the many state parks located less than 20 miles from the cabin. Close to Laurel Mountain Ski Resort, Seven Springs, and Hidden Valley. This is a rustic cabin updated with most modern amenities, but there is no TV and no WiFi. There is cell service, but I urge you to break away from the busy world during your stay. Explore the land around the cabin, watch wildlife from the porch, take a peaceful nap in the hammock, or build a bonfire. Take in all that nature has to offer. The cabin sits in the middle of 26 acres. Guests can explore the entire property. The loft area is currently off limits to guests. Please do not use the loft or the spiral staircase leading up to it. Please be aware that the driveway is dirt and gravel. The entrance, from the paved road, goes up a small gravel hill. Please drive slowly. AWD or 4x4 is required for the winter months.

Guest Access: This is an exclusive Tentrr Signature campsite. Tentrr partners with farmers, ranchers, and other property owners to offer unique outdoor accommodations on beautiful private land. Our campsites are off-the-grid which means they generally do not have access to electricity, wifi, or modern plumbing. Instead, they offer the chance to relax, unplug, and fully experience nature! As a general rule, Tentrr campsites do not have access to electricity and cell service may be hard to come by. You'll have the entire campsite to yourself, as you'll be the only Campers enjoying this piece of paradise. Each campsite includes a 10'x12' safari-style canvas tent on a raised platform, and you'll find one queen bed or a queen-size bunk bed inside (each site is different, see photos for the exact setup). Larger groups can also use the extra 5-person pop-up dome tent that’s provided (you’re welcome to bring your own camping gear too). You'll also have a 6-ft picnic table, outdoor fire pit, 2 Tentrr Adirondack chairs, and a heating source to keep you warm and toasty at night. Toilets: Every campsite is equipped with a camp toilet (we call it the Tentrr Loo). This is a simple wooden box with a toilet seat and a bucket inside. Line the bucket with a CleanWaste bag supplied at the camp (or another appropriate plastic bag) prior to use. Afterwards, simply tie the bag up and place it in a trash bag. We got this idea from bathrooms used on NASA spaceships, and we've used the Tentrr Loo countless times ourselves- don't worry! Showers: Every Signature campsite comes with a Coleman Sun Shower. The sun shower has a reservoir that holds up to 5 gallons of water, potentially enough for multiple showers. It's constructed of heat-locking material that warms the water when it's left in the sun, even on cool days. Camping during Covid-19: Tentrr campsites have always been the perfect solution for getting away from it all. Privacy and seclusion are part of what make our outdoor accommodations unique, and usually all it takes is a quick road trip out of the city to reach one of our exclusive camping destinations. This cabin is small but cozy. It sleeps up to 5 with two bunk beds and a twin bed. Located on the Raytown Branch of Juniata River were just 4 miles from Shawnee State Park and Bedford is a short drive as well. You are welcome to make a campfire, take a walk, go biking or spend the day fishing. Since the cabin is located in our family farm campground there's likely to be other campers around as well. Our farm is located just next to the camp. We raise cattle and sheep, chickens and geese, and we grow seasonal produce as well. Our farm to table restaurant is just 3 miles away. Beautiful home located in Richland Township and 5 miles from downtown Johnstown, PA. It is in the center of all Thunder in the Valley activities. Beautiful view of golf course from front yard. Home hosted by former bikers themselves. Beautiful view from front porch to golf course. The host will be at the house during your stay. Coffee and tea will be provided. There are lots of biker breakfasts around the area. You will have a private room but may have to share a bathroom. You will notice plastic on the carpet in the living room and dining room which is due to our small elderly dog who has occasional accidents. Small dog friendly. We will keep an eye on your dog while you're out. No cats allowed. Can park motorcycle in the garage.

The Kooser-Ankney Homestead (circa 1832) is a colonial farmhouse listed on the Somerset County (PA) Historic Register that has been lovingly restored. Located on 16 acres in Somerset, PA, the property has convenient access to Seven Springs (7 miles), Hidden Valley (6 miles), and Laurel Hill State Park (4 miles). It is the perfect place to have a family gathering, enjoy a long weekend or celebrate a special occasion. The home features 4 original wood burning fireplaces and 2 gas fireplaces in the guest rooms. During warmer months, there is an outdoor fire pit for evenings filled with stargazing. Firewood is provided for guests. The home has three formal bedrooms, two sleeper sofas in the living room and one sleeper sofa in the library. There is a 65" TV in the living room and a 42" TV in the library, with Bose surround sound. The library also features plenty of books and board games (and even a rolling book shelf ladder). There are three bathrooms to include a corner Jacuzzi tub in the master bathroom. A front load washer and dryer are available, and towels and linens are included with the rental. The home is equipped with WiFi and satellite TV. The chef's kitchen includes granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, a gas stove, and two large sinks for meal preparation. An outdoor propane grill is located on the front porch with convenient access to the kitchen. The dining room has a large table that seats the entire family and is handcrafted from old beams found in the historic barn. There are many special sights within driving distance to include Frank Lloyd Wright’s Fallingwater and Kentuck Knob, Flight 93 Memorial, and Ohiopyle State Park (with whitewater rafting) as well as Bedford Springs Resort and Spa and Nemacolin Woodlands Resort and Casino.

Stonewood Lodge is primarily a multi-generational family rental that welcomes and hosts groups that include parents, grandparents and minor children. Stonewood Lodge is rented as a vacation home...not a party house. Any group looking for a rental home to engage in heavy drinking that could lead to drunken, destructive or dangerous behavior is asked to please rent a different home. Thank you. Our occupancy limit at the Lodge is 8 adults maximum; 4 minor children maximum...for a total of 12 guests. We keep a strict occupancy limit of 12 guests maximum including children of all ages to adhere to national fire safety codes. Also, we strictly disallow inviting additional day or overnight visitors to the home beyond the agreed upon group size as indicated on the Rental Agreement. We do not permit "In Garage" parking. We use the garage for storage of property maintenance equipment that we may need to access in a weather emergency. All reservations must include at least two weekend nights or midweek discount rates do not apply and revert back to our base rate of $600.00 per night. All holiday weekends require a minimum stay of 3 nights. Rentals that include Christmas or New Years require a minimum stay of 5 nights. All 6 or 7 night stays require a Friday arrival. As part of our Rental Agreement we require all adult guests to sign a Liability Waiver...the same type you sign at a chain motel, doctor/dentist office or a bike/canoe rental. To validate the Liability Waiver, identity authentication is required. Each adult guest must scan a clear and legible copy of their current, state issued, Driver's License Photo ID on the back of the Liability Waiver. All required documents must be received by the home owners no later then 10 days prior to arrival. Therefore, all reservations must be made at least 14 days before the arrival date. Finally, we live part time in another stone house on a next door property and we will be there for most or all of your stay. The home is under pest/rodent treatment; but, you will see all types of bugs, chipmunks, mice, flying squirrels at the home. At one point, this home has had each inside the home. Raccoons, deer and bear are relatively common close to the house; so, outside garbage/food should always be secured. If this is NOT an experience as a guest that you would like to have, we would recommend you NOT booking this home. Still located close enough to enjoy Fallingwater, Kentuck Knob, Yough Lake, Confluence and Ohiopyle area! Super private, wood lot, with two small streams running through property!
